From vision to BETA: roadmap, brand system in product, discovery UX, vibecoded foundation, pitch deck, and provider monetization for UAE healthcare discovery.

Project Summary

1Health connects patients, clinics, and healthcare professionals across the UAE. The founding team pairs clinical domain expertise and business operations with product and systems leadership. I owned the full arc: operating rhythm, shippable product, fundable materials, and a provider-side monetization model that matches what is live today.

My Role

Product Lead. I built the roadmap and delivery cadence, chose tooling and tech stack, shaped discovery and patient flows, vibecoded most of the application foundation, and wrote the pitch narrative, deck, and financial projections. Brand identity and in-product patterns were laid down in parallel so decks, site, and app stayed aligned.

The Problem

Patients bounce between clinic sites, insurance portals, and referrals to find care. A new platform needed a shippable product, a fundable story, and a monetization model at the same time, not one after the other.

Key Decisions

Start with the patient problem

Finding care in the UAE should not mean tab-hopping across clinic websites and insurance portals. The founding team combined clinical credibility, business operations, and product systems. Clinical insight kept scope honest; business kept partnerships grounded; product turned it into something shippable. The job was not another deck. It was a weekly operating rhythm we could run together. Healthcare brands often skew either cold and institutional or overly consumer-friendly. 1Health serves patients and providers making high-stakes care decisions. The mark had to signal clarity and compliance before anyone opened the product. We kept it legible at favicon scale and calm at hero scale.

Build the operating system

Before feature depth, we defined how the company would run: roadmap themes tied to patient and provider jobs, tooling for delivery and admin, and a business model with provider tiers instead of premature consumer fees. I built financial projections with explicit assumptions: what we knew, what we assumed, what would falsify each line. Pitch narrative and deck moved in parallel with the product so GTM language matched what we were building.

Ship discovery and the design system together

Most of the application foundation came through vibecoding: agentic AI for scaffolding, routing, and early UI, with me reviewing every patient-facing flow. The homepage has one job above the fold: find care. Search, insurance chips, and location set context. Partial terms surface structured suggestions; tabs split professionals, clinics, and services without losing the query. Teal anchors primary actions. Typography, chip patterns, and card radius were extracted from the live BETA as the design system matured. Logo usage on light fields, profile cards with credentials, and the discovery homepage share the same patterns documented from the shipping product so pitch and provider onboarding stay aligned.

Brand system in product

Patterns were documented from the shipping product: search chips, profile cards, teal accent, and logo lockups on light fields.

Discovery and search

Patient-facing entry points from the live BETA.

Profiles, sign-in, and patient flows

Shared profile templates for professionals and clinics carry enough to decide before contact: credentials, services, location, reviews. Email and social sign-in stay light so favourites and bookings do not block browsing. Signed-in patients get a health hub, account settings, saved providers, and a bookings list. Separate pricing paths for clinics and professionals keep patient search clean while providers get a clear listing route.

Profiles and patient flows

Shared profile templates, sign-in, and signed-in patient surfaces.

Launch, monetize, and learn

The platform reached BETA on web and mobile web. Investor and provider conversations tested the model qualitatively: who lists first, what tier fits which practice size, what proof we need before scaling ads. No revenue claims until the numbers exist. The monetization story is provider-side listings and tiers, aligned with what ships today. Every pitch slide could point at a screen that already existed in BETA.

Provider onboarding

Separate listing paths for clinics and professionals, aligned with the monetization model.

Outcome

1Health is live in BETA across the UAE with patient discovery, provider listings, favourites, bookings, and separate clinic and professional onboarding paths. Pitch materials and projections are built; provider and investor conversations are underway.

Closing Insight

The pitch deck worked because every slide could point at a screen that already existed in BETA.
